4th of July Cocktail Recipe: The Blue Heirloom (Indigo Gin Based Cocktail)
Share
What's a beautiful summer table without a signature cocktail?
To celebrate the Fourth of July, we're sharing one of our favorite seasonal sips—the Blue Heirloom Gin Cocktail. Inspired by our new Heirloom block print napkins, this refreshing drink is vibrant, light, and guaranteed to spark conversation.

Warning: This cocktail may steal the spotlight from dinner. 💙🍓
Blue Heirloom Gin Cocktail
Ingredients
- 2 oz. Empress 1908 Gin
- Fresh market strawberries (5, or so)
- 3 oz. Coconut water
- Ice
- Fresh strawberry or mint for garnish (optional)
- A small pinch of sugar (optional)
Simply muddle a few fresh strawberries with optional sugar in bottom of glass, add ice, slowly pour coconut water to make a "clear" layer, top with Empress Gin poured slowly over the back of a spoon. We're trying not to have the clear layer mix with the blue layer. The botanical gin creates a stunning blue hue that's almost too pretty to sip.
Whether you're hosting a backyard barbecue, a porch happy hour, or a festive dinner with friends, pair this cocktail with colorful linens, fresh flowers, and your favorite summer dishes for an effortlessly elevated tablescape.

Here's to celebrating good food, beautiful gatherings, and making memories around the table.
Happy Fourth of July from all of us at Quincy & Coco! 🇺🇸✨
